Returns and Refunds Policy
1. Eligibility for Returns
At Auto Parts Hub, we strive for technical precision. If a part remains unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received, it is eligible for return. Please ensure all seals and labels are intact. Electronic components and special order items are subject to specific verification before return approval.
2. Timeframes
- Standard Returns: Within 14 days of delivery.
- Faulty Items: Must be reported within 48 hours of receipt for transit damage or 7 days for manufacturing defects.
3. Conditions for Returns
Items must not have been installed or show signs of wear. Parts that have been tampered with, disassembled, or damaged during installation attempt by a non-certified mechanic will not be accepted. Original invoices must accompany all returns to comply with South African consumer law.
4. Return Process Steps
- Contact our support team at returns@autoparts-hub.co.za with your order number.
- Provide clear photographs of the part and packaging.
- Upon approval, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be issued.
- Pack the item securely and ship back via our designated courier service.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the status. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days. A 15% restocking fee may apply to non-faulty returns to cover industrial handling costs.
6. Exchanges
Incorrectly ordered parts can be exchanged for the correct specification. Price differences must be settled before the replacement part is dispatched. Exchange shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was on our part.
7. Non-Returnable Items
- Fuel system components once packaging has been opened.
- Electrical sensors and modules (once installed).
- Custom ordered body kits or performance tuning chips.
- Liquids, oils, and chemical additives.
